How Many Groups are in Indian Railways?
There are 4 group posts in the Railways. There are many positions in The Sports Quota, from Group A to D.
- Group A recruits a large group of officers. That is selected after exams like UPSC, CMSE.
- Group B does not have direct recruitment. It is the railway employees who come here for the promotion.
- In Group C, posts like engineering posts, station masters, clerks, etc. are released. Most of the posts originate in this group.
- In Group D, there are recruits like sweepers, helpers, trackmen, etc.
Educational Qualifications
There should be 10th and 12th passes for this post. It should also have a 2-year diploma in ITI. Mechanics, electrical, automobiles should be of any one of these trades.
Even if you have a Bachelor engineering degree in these trades, you can still apply for loco pilots. All these certificates should be recognized.
Medical Qualification
Eyes play a key role in becoming a loco pilot. Your eyes should be perfectly healthy if you have a problem with your eyes or if your eyes are weak, you cannot become a loco pilot.
Age Limit
Loco Pilot Recruitment Must be between 18 and 28 years of age for the candidate to apply in 2019. Whereas, there is also some relaxation in the age limit for the ST class.
The Railway Recruitment Board of India issues notification regarding vacancies to fill the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2019. The application format given to them can be used to make the application. Based on the application format issued, the candidate has to enclose all necessary documents in that application form.
